Search infrastructures and software

Since the beginning of 2020, I started providing back-end development services for a large company in the automotive aftermarket field. The objective was improving performance and extend the capabilities of the existing systems.

The project encompasses many areas of the existing infrastructure, brings performance improvements as well as higher quality and control over the data, as well as bringing new features and services to the public.

This collaboration has produced:

APIs that make use of screen scraping tools, in case the customer cannot provide ready-to-use APIs, be it for economical or technical reasons;
Adapters, necessary to have homogeneous data to further process;
Aggregation systems using concurrent programming (multithreading and multi-processor jobs);
New features and web services.
